It's Summa-Summatime! Most people choose to travel during the Summer and if you wish to go international, you will need your passport. I got mines renewed not too long ago which was what inspired this post. I'm sure there are women who have the same mentality of looking good on a government-issued ID. My photo came out terrible but my makeup was on point at least!
The makeup for this look was very minimal. Passport guidelines are pretty strict and you want to avoid having your application rejected. I used a build-able foundation and buffed it out with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and I highlighted with a very gentle hand. I applied loose powder to the areas where I tend to crease and/or get oily like my t-zone and underneath my eyes.
To sculpt my features a bit, I did some negative highlighting. I used my highlight color underneath my eyes, forehead, chin and on the sides of my jaw. when blended out, it gives the appearance of a more sculpted look without the need for contour. This looks mre natural and it is especially great for my fellow deeper-toned ladies.

Once you receive your passport, why not accessorize with one of these passport holders? They will help keep all your travel documents together and they are super cute too! I got super distracted looking at them while munching on Pressels, I've been hooked ever POPSUGAR sent them to me as part of their #MustHaves Box for June! The siracha definitely gives it a kick, I love a hint of spicy! For more info on the PopSugar box, visit this link: http://link.popsugar.com/u.d?UYGuWkjfNbSt0Nc6P_y1=411.

Tips:
- It's best to have a matte face. Avoid very dewy makeup or glittery highlighters. It might relect off the flash and ruin your photo.
- Keep hair neat and avoid any distracting accessories. I kept my hair tucked behind my ears to avoid it falling into my face. I also recommend wearing solid colors.
- Unfortunately smiling is not allowed so take a page out of Tyra Banks' book and practice smizing (smiling with your eyes) to perk your face up a little.
