The Best Brush Cleaner for $1.99!

This has to be one of my favorite cheap finds ever. This soap costs about $1.99 and it makes cleaning your brushes a breeze.

ZOTE is a bar soap which is primarily used for laundry. After seeing on Instagram how well it cleans Beauty Blenders, I decided to give it a try. ZOTE is short for "Jabonzote" which means "big soap" in Spanish. It is manufactured in Mexico and contains ingredients such as coconut oil which makes it ideal for cleaning makeup brushes.

I have always sworn by Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap for cleaning my brushes and tools but ZOTE does the job in half the time. It is impressive, how fast it removes all that yucky buildup from my brushes and sponges. I get most of the product out in one go, sometimes I have to repeat for more stubborn stains. The bristles still remain soft which can be due to the coconut oil in the soap.
