LOT-LESS Haul

I was downtown getting a copy of my birth certificate the other day when I passed by a Lot Less. These stores are great because they sell cosmetics and beauty products at reduced prices. Usually, they don't have much to choose from but this one did. I bought a load of stuff and I only spent about twenty dollars! Who doesn't love a bargain?

Style Spotlight: Anthony "Romeo" Santos

This is my second post in my "Style Spotlight" series where I talk about a celebrity's style and post some of my favorite looks that they have done. The first person I did this on was on the eternally fashionable J.Lo (you can see the J.Lo post here. I decided it would be fun to do a post on men's fashion so for the second celeb, I chose the very smooth Anthony "Romeo" Santos.


If you already know, I am a HUGE fan of the group Aventura. If you follow me on Twitter, you might know that I have a crush on their lead singer Romeo. Not only does he have the looks but he has great style sense. He always looks so put together and stylish without making it look too metrosexual lol.


His style has evolved somewhat in the past few years. He has finally found his niche and most of the time he's in classic, cool pieces and mixes it up once in a while by wearing a cool-looking jacket. For the red carpet, he keeps it sharp with a well cut suit and usually paired with a pastel shirt. Or sometimes he'll pair dress pants with a suit jacket in an unexpected color. You have to love a man who has fun with fashion.

Si usted ya sabe, yo soy un gran fan del grupo Aventura. Si me sigues en Twitter, debes saber que tengo estoy locamente enamorada del vocalista Anthony "Romeo" Santos. No sólo tiene la apariencia pero se ha sentido un gran estilo. Él siempre se ves hermoso y con estilo sin verse demasiado metrosexual.

Su estilo ha evolucionado mucho en los últimos años. Finalmente, ha encontrado su lugar y la mayoría de las veces en piezas clásicas, fresca y la mezcla de vez en cuando con el uso de una chaqueta color vibrante. Por la alfombra roja, que se mantiene fuerte con un traje bien cortado y por lo general se combina con una camisa color pastel. O a veces él parpantalones de vestir con un traje chaqueta en un color inesperado. Tienes que amar a un hombre que se divierte con la moda.

YRB Party

So I got invited to this party via Twitter by @Edwardnet (follow him!). It was a party for the September issue of YRB magazine and Kelly Rowland was on the cover. I was kind of disappointed because I was going to interview her but the request didn't go through in time so i didn't get to meet her. But I did get to meet Mr. Jay and Miss J from America's Next Top Model. I only got a picture with Mr. jay because some guy was all up on Miss J. And the guy looked kind of crazy, like he drank 5 cups of coffee so I figured it was best to steer clear.

The venue was pretty cool. It was at Carnival, above Bowlmor Lanes. it had a cool, kooky carnival/circus theme. Along w/ my invite, I got several tickets that I used to play games that they had. they had games like the ring toss and stuff. I ended up winning a leopard print cowboy hat. Go Me!

Are Those My Boyfriend's Jeans I'm Wearing?

Nope! For now I don't have a boyfriend to steal jeans from so I'm going to have to make do with the boyfriend cut that's still going on strong for this season. I really hope this trend doesn't die out any soon because it is so comfortable, a great break from the ankle-strangling skinny jeans. I love skinnies but sometimes I like to loosen up a little. Boyfriend jeans look great dressed up or down and go well with a few feminine pieces mixed in.

I wore mines with a tank with studded detailing and leopard print pumps, another hot trend for Fall 2010.

Yesterday I went to Fashion's Night Out in NYC and it I had a good time. It was pretty crowded around the city due to the different events but it was bearable. My favorite area was SoHo because it was there that I saw a lot of great fashion and fierceness. I also got to ride the Payless party bus and it was soo much fun! I didn't get to see a lot of celebs (I saw Pharell of The Neptunes from very far) but I got to meet YouTube gurus fafinettex3 and julieg713, and they were so nice. I was loving the vibe yesterday and not to mention all the freebies I got.
