OOTD: Oh What A Winter Wonderland

Today was one of those perfect Winter days where you can walk around comfortably if you're properly bundled up. It was perfect for to throw some photos of this OOTD. It had snowed the day before and there were still remnants of it the next day which I thought looked very pretty.

I used to be one of those people that didn't really care about coats. All I needed was a warm, practical coat that I can make cute with a scarf and hat. The last season of Sex and The City really inspired me to step my outerwear game up. Carrie's winter outfits were stunning. And as I am getting older, I'm loving Winter a little bit more. I loathe extra hot Summer days. I do not like sweating at all and it's so difficult to be stylish AND comfortable. Well at least in NYC.

I've always wanted a plaid coat and I saw this cute one in Forever21 and I took advantage of a sale they had to purchase it. I originally wanted a blue one but I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and went for this one. It's a nice pop of color and surprisingly red can be a neutral too! This red is a little muted so it's pretty versatile.
